violation of rights in james baldwin -Man Child & Going to Meet the man

Man Child -Eric's death at the end of the stoey is due to his owm father .
Each and every time eric's father pointed out to jamie that jamie was alone whereas
he had land , wife , and a child .Where as jamie had hust a dog for his company .

When Eric's mother ask's jamie to leave the dog alone jamie claims that " a man has got right over the
object he posess".When Eric's father tells Jamie that the dog has the right to bite him .Jamie replies that he would shoot the dog.It's here where Eric's father tells jamie that jamie is all alone.

Eric's father sees pregnancy as an achievement .He tells to jamie " I did that ".He even takes Eric to show the land that he posess and tells to his son that one day he will inherit the land .
Where as in the case of J amie one can see that jamie had no land .He was married once and his wife ran away from him,he had no children.Eric's father tries to destroy the self -esteem of jamie by saying
"Jamie the pumpkin eater had a wife who once ran away".jamie is deprieved of all those things which eric's father had .Eric's father even tells jamie that the next child would come out to the world and if it is a boy they would surely name the child after him .All thse things make jamie to violation of rights that he kills eric.
Going to meet the man-Whites exercising their power over blacks can be seen in this story .The way blacks are treated by whites .In the case of jessie since he didn't find more spice in his wife grace he thinks of picking up a black woman to fulfill his sexual desires since he very well knew that she would do what ever he wanted her to do.Thus we find that black women are seen as sex toys by the whites at the same time black women are doubly oppressed by the whites and by their own husband.
But apart from this he vies blacks as ugly ,black stinking coons,who live in the civilised world as animals.
He hated their fat lips ,their habit of singingand the stinking smell of blacks
The whites exercise power outwardly within they have a fear that blacks would one day dominate them
as a result of which they supress the blacks .The back mam is tied upside down with the chain the
whole of black community gather together to watch it.For the whites it is a picnic .The whites do not kill
the black immediately but kill him inch by inch making him to wait for death and hang his private parts.Thusagain there is violation of righs.
